OCT 31, 2018 WAWA: “Spooky Hill Repeats!”

In past years, I’ve done Halloween-themed WAWAs that involved pumpkins.  Stepping things up this year.  No more pumpkins.  Instead, I’ve picked out a scary hill on Forest Park Drive (near Freedom Park) for a great Hill Repeats workout!

We’ll climb the hill six times!  Each climb is about 0.15 mile, but fairly steep.  Steep but do-able!

Here’s the general workout:

-Easy jog from Cornwell Center along Princeton Ave to Forest Park Drive.  (Base of the hill.)

-6 hill repeats up the incline

-Easy-to-Moderate jog back to the Cornwell Center, along Cumberland, then East Blvd, then up Radcliff before heading back “home”.

Total planned mileage is about 4.5 miles.

Weather will be mid-40’s in the morning with a slight breeze.  Sunrise is not until 7:36 am so plan on bright, reflective gear, headlamps, etc.

Meet outside the Cornwell Center at 5:45 am ready to go!  It will be a great run/workout!

“Michael Lenhart” will be there!  “Michael Myers”…..will not!
